China Telecom is tucked away on Sadar Patrappa Road 7, which is a really busy part of the city if you know it. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside. You mostly just see a lot of wires and boxes stacked up in the corners. Every day, we look for specific parts that people need for their electronics. SP Road is always loud with people shouting and bikes moving around, so it’s never quiet here. We’ve got shelves filled with all sorts of things, from small connectors to larger pieces of equipment. Half the time we're just trying to remember where we put everything. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, and that means wiping things down pretty often. We don't really have a fancy seating area for customers. There's just a counter where we talk and figure out what’s needed. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on. It’s just how things work in this neighborhood. Most of the people who come in are looking for something specific they can't find elsewhere. We just do our work, talk to the other shop owners nearby, and go home when the sun sets. It’s a pretty basic way to spend the day. Nothing much happens beyond the usual routine of helping people with their tech needs.
