China Hut

We have been at No.7, 1st Cross for a while now. It is right on Nandidurga Main Road. Most people know us because we are right opposite the Old Janatha Bazar in the Jayamahal Extension area of Bangalore. It is a busy spot but we like it here. When we started China Hut, it was just about getting some decent food out to the neighbors. The kitchen isn't huge but we keep it busy. People stop by after work or when they are walking through the extension. Bangalore has changed a lot, but this corner feels pretty much the same. We handle the cooking ourselves most days. It gets a bit loud when the stove is going and the orders come in. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting right by the door and we have to tell them to hang on a second while the rice finishes. We don't do anything fancy with the decor, just some tables and chairs for whoever wants to sit down. The address is 560046 if you are looking on a map. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It is just a regular place where you can get a meal without any fuss. We see the same faces every week, which is nice.
