If you walk down Dharmaraja Koil Street in Shivaji Nagar, you’ll find us at number 101. We are right across from the Hbp Indian School. Chetan Flower And Decorators has been part of this street for a long time. It usually smells like marigolds or roses around here, depending on what came in that morning from the market. We spend our mornings sorting through stems and making sure the garlands look decent. Decoration work is a lot of heavy lifting and early hours that people don't always see. We load up the van with frames and flowers and head out to whatever hall or house needs us. Shivaji Nagar is always crowded and noisy, but that’s just how it is. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s just a workspace filled with buckets of water and bits of ribbon. We take orders for weddings, small functions, or even just house puja decorations. Sometimes we get really busy during the festival seasons and everyone is working late into the night. It’s hard on the hands and the back, but seeing the final stage done is a good feeling. We aren't interested in being the most famous decorators in Bangalore. We just want to do a solid job so the flowers stay fresh for the whole event. People know where to find us if they need something done without any fuss. We just take it one order at a time and try to keep the flowers bright and the setups sturdy.
