Chesters Living

Chesters Living is situated on the 2nd floor of the KKMP Building. We are at 16 A on Thiaiah Road in the Vasanth Nagar area. It’s a pretty good spot, right next to the Ambedkar Bhavan. You have to come up the stairs to find us since we aren't on the ground level. We deal with furniture and various things for the home. The office and the display area are together, so you can see what we are working on at any given time. Vasanth Nagar is a nice neighborhood, though finding a parking spot on Thiaiah Road can be a real challenge sometimes. We spend our time looking at furniture designs and talking to people about how to fit things into their houses. It’s a fairly small operation. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few of us who know a bit about wood, fabrics, and how to put a room together. We like being in the KKMP Building because it’s quite central and easy for people to reach. Most days involve checking on pending orders or showing visitors around the different pieces we have on the floor. We aren't trying to be a high-pressure sales place. We just let people walk through and see if they like the feel of the chairs or tables. The light in the showroom is actually quite nice in the late afternoons. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ve had all sorts of customers come through.
