Chappy Wholesale Foods

Our place is down at 54/28 in H S R Layout, specifically in the Vanganahalli area. We call it Chappy Wholesale Foods. Being in HSR Layout means there is always something going on nearby, but our little corner stays mostly focused on the crates and boxes. We deal with wholesale stuff, so there is a lot of lifting and counting involved throughout the day. The space isn't decorated or anything like that because we use every inch for storage and moving goods. Sometimes the delivery vans have a bit of a hard time backing into the spot if the street is crowded, but we usually figure it out. It’s a practical environment. We start early when the air is still cool and try to get the heavy work done before it gets too muggy. Vanganahalli has changed a lot since we first got here, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same. We don’t really have a big office; it’s mostly just the warehouse floor and a small desk where we keep the records. It can get a bit messy when a big shipment arrives, but that’s just how wholesale goes. We just keep moving things from point A to point B and try to stay on top of the inventory. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we like the rhythm of it. It is just how things are done here.
