Chandan Metal Components

We are tucked away in the Sundar Industrial Estate, specifically at NO.S1/B1. It’s part of that New Timber Yard Layout off Mysore Road. If you know the area, you know it’s always packed with trucks and people moving things around. Chandan Metal Components is basically a machine shop where we make different parts. It’s oily and loud, just like any real workshop should be. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby to sit in. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk up to the main door and wait for one of us to notice them over the sound of the machines running. We spend most of our hours looking at specs and making sure the metal is being cut right. Mysore Road is always a bit of a mess with traffic, but the estate itself is where the real work happens. We have been here for a good stretch of time. The guys who work here have been doing this for years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing. We just get the metal in, set up the machines, and get the components finished for the orders. It’s not a glamorous life, but there’s something satisfying about seeing a finished part after starting with just a piece of raw stock. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have on the bench. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy enough throughout the year and keep the wheels turning.
