Champakadhama Tent House

We are located right on Temple Street in Bannerghatta, specifically near Maramma Temple at number 4. Being so close to the temple means there is always something happening outside our door. There are crowds, bells ringing, and lots of people walking by every single day. We deal with the usual tent house supplies like decorative cloths, sturdy poles, and plenty of chairs. Our space is filled to the ceiling with these things. It can get a bit overwhelming when we are trying to find a specific color of fabric in the middle of a busy week. We have been here for a long time, so the local temple activities are just part of our daily rhythm. The shop is small and a bit dark inside because of how much we have stored, but we know our way around. It’s a family-style environment where we just get on with the chores. We don't use any high-tech systems; we just write things down and remember who needs what. The street is narrow, so bringing the trucks in and out takes some skill, but we’ve had plenty of practice over the years. We enjoy being part of the life on Temple Street. It’s noisy and crowded, but it feels like home to us. We just keep doing our bit, making sure we have everything ready when the next festival or family gathering comes around. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us going.
