Our place is at 12 Electronic City, right on Geeta Mandir Road in the Veersandra Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of movement around us. Trucks coming in, people moving pallets, and the constant hum of the nearby factories. We work with alloys and metals, so the space is mostly filled with heavy stacks of material. It gets dusty, and your hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the paperwork. Most of the action happens on the main floor where the metal is stored and sorted. We use a lot of heavy tools, and you have to watch your step. The Geeta Mandir Road gets quite busy during the shift changes. We’ve been here for a good bit of time, and we know the other guys in the industrial area. If someone needs a specific type of metal, they usually know to come find us here. It’s not a place for fancy clothes or polished floors. It’s about getting the metal moved and making sure the counts are right. We have a small kettle for making coffee, and that’s about as fancy as it gets. The roof is corrugated metal, so it sounds quite loud when it rains, but we just talk louder and keep moving the stock around.
