Cecelisa Anthraper Satin Wood

Our place is in Ulsoor, right on the 11th cross. We are across from that shop called Pretty Patterns. We work with wood, mostly the satin wood stuff that people like for their homes. It’s a dusty job but we enjoy it. The smell of sawdust is always in the air here. We’ve been at this 8th Main location for some time now. It’s a family thing. We have all sorts of tools lying around and blocks of wood waiting to be carved or cut. It’s not a showroom with bright lights. It’s a workshop where we actually do the work. Customers come in to look at samples and talk about what they need for their houses. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. Ulsoor is a nice area, even if the traffic on the main road is a bit much. We like the local vibe here in Phase II. We take our time with the wood because you can't rush these things. Sometimes a piece takes longer than we thought. That’s just the nature of it. We aren't trying to be the biggest wood shop in Bangalore. We just want to make stuff that lasts and keep our regulars happy. The workshop floor is always covered in shavings by the end of the day, but that’s how you know we were working.
