Carved Furniture Sale

Our shop is tucked away in Vijaya Nagar, right behind the Syndicate Bank near Puttama Kalyana Mantapa. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't looking for it. We spend most of our time around wood and sawdust. There’s always a project being worked on, usually something with a bit of detail or hand-carving involved. It gets loud with the tools sometimes, but that’s just how it is. People come in looking for something specific for their homes, and we show them what we’ve got sitting in the back or on the floor. It’s not a big showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workshop feel where you can actually see the wood. We’ve been at this M C Layout location for a bit now. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, and we have to spend half the morning just cleaning up so folks can walk around. We handle a lot of different pieces, mostly stuff that takes time to finish. It’s not fast work. You can’t rush the carving part or it looks wrong. Most of our neighbors know us by the sound of the hammers. We just try to get the pieces done right so they last a long time in someone’s living room. It’s a quiet life mostly, just working with our hands and talking to whoever drops by to see the latest stuff we finished. We usually have a tea around four and get back to it.
