Capsicum Blue

Our spot is in HBR Layout, right at number 330. It’s a decent area, mostly quiet compared to the main roads. We have a small office space here. There are a few desks and some chairs that don’t quite match. We spend a lot of our time on the phones or on our laptops. The internet goes out sometimes and we just have to wait for the guy to come and fix it. We have a small kitchenette in the corner where we keep a kettle for tea. The windows look out onto the street and we see the same people walking their dogs every morning. We don't really have a dress code or anything like that. Most of us just wear jeans and t-shirts. It feels more like a house than a workplace sometimes because it’s so small. We have some plants on the windowsills but we often forget to water them. There is a lot of paper piled up on the side tables. We don’t do big presentations. If we need to talk about something, we just pull up a chair. The afternoon sun comes right through the glass and makes it hard to see the screens, so we have these old blinds we pull down. It’s a pretty simple way to spend the day. We’ve been in this layout for a while now and we like the neighborhood. Sometimes we order food from the place down the street and eat together.
