America Online (Aol)

Our America Online (Aol) office is located at 95/1 on the 2nd Floor of 21st Main. We are in Siddeshwar Nagar, over in the Marenhalli area of Bangalore. Being near Maruth Mandir is a good landmark because people always get lost trying to find the specific street. The office is just a regular second-floor space with a staircase that’s a bit steep. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our equipment. We spend a lot of time on the internet, which is expected given the name of the company, but the setting is very local. The neighborhood has a lot of small shops and houses, so it doesn’t feel like a tech hub at all. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and talk about our weekend plans. The furniture is practical, nothing too modern or expensive. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the 21st Main road. Sometimes the rain in Bangalore makes the roof a bit noisy, but we just turn up the music or focus harder on the screens. We don't have any big slogans on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work every day, answer some emails, and manage the systems we are responsible for. It’s a straightforward job in a regular part of town, and we like that it isn't too complicated or loud. We just keep things running and try to stay on top of the daily tasks.
