Cane-O-La Parlour

You can find us at number 1104 on the OTC Road, right near the Cubbonpet Main Road. Cane-O-La Parlour is just a small shop where we work with sugar cane all day long. The road outside is always crowded with people and scooters, and it can get pretty loud and dusty. We spend our time getting the cane ready and keeping the machines running. It is a bit of a messy job, but we stay on top of the cleaning. The shop isn't big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We don't have any fancy seats or decor. It’s just a place to get a drink and move on. Many of our customers are people who are working nearby in Cubbonpet or just passing through on their way somewhere else. We’ve been at this spot on OTC Road for quite some time now. We know the other people who have shops on this street, and we all just do our own thing. When the weather is hot, we are very busy. When it rains, things slow down and we just watch the water run down the street. It’s a very simple business. We don’t try to make it anything it’s not. We just open the shutters in the morning and work until it’s time to go home. That is just how it goes for us every day here in the city on Cubbonpet Main Road.
