Candy Cut

Our shop, Candy Cut, is at No 37 in the Amarkhed Arcade. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in. This is on the 1st Main Road in Sadashivanagar. If you know where the Dell Shop is, we are quite close to that. Sadashivanagar is a bit quieter than some other parts of the city, but the main road still gets its fair share of traffic. The space inside is pretty basic. We have a few stations set up for haircuts. We don’t have a lot of extra room, so we keep things very organized. The floor is usually white tile, which shows every bit of hair, so we are always sweeping. We have some simple chairs for waiting and a small desk at the front. The staff is usually busy with the shears or the blow dryer. You can hear the hum of the machines all day long. We don’t have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. The lighting is okay, nothing special, just enough to see the hair properly. We have a few cupboards where we store the capes and the shampoos. It’s a very local feel, and we see a lot of the same faces every month. It’s a small, practical business in a nice part of town. Actually, the doorbell rings quite a lot during the evening hours.
