We started cafehouseofquotes because we wanted a spot on Church Street where people could just sit. It is right at 52/2, across from Cafe Matteo. Bangalore gets busy, and Church Street is always crowded, so having this little space feels right. We have some tables and chairs, nothing fancy. Most people find us because they are walking by or looking for a quiet corner near the main stretch. The walls have some stuff on them, and we try to keep the place tidy. It is not a huge operation, just a few of us working here every day. We make coffee and some snacks. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or we run out of a specific cake, but that is how it goes. Being in the 560001 area means we see a lot of students and office folks. Some stay for an hour, others just grab a quick drink. We do not have a big corporate plan or anything. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It gets dusty sometimes because of the road work nearby, but we wipe things down when we can. If you are near the church street area, you will see our sign. It is just a regular cafe where you can spend some time without anyone bothering you too much. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to chat. It is a simple life for us here.
