Cafe Mezzuna

We are tucked away in the House of Lords building on St Marks Road. If you know Bangalore, you know this area gets really busy, especially with all the shops and banks around. We are located just after the State Bank of India. It’s a good location because people are always walking by. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing. It’s a place where you can get a break from the noise of the street. We don’t have any big philosophy or anything, we just wanted to open a cafe where we would want to hang out ourselves. The interior is simple, nothing too flashy. We have some wooden tables and the lighting is okay. Sometimes the lunch rush gets a bit hectic and we might take a minute longer than usual, but we try our best to keep up. Our staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a bit. We don’t really do fancy marketing. We just figure if the food is okay and the place is decent, people will come back. It’s nice seeing the same faces every week. That’s what keeps us going I guess. St Marks Road has changed a lot over the years but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. If you’re ever around the House of Lords, you can stop in. We’re usually here from morning until late.
