Our place is located at No. 457 in Hanumantha Nagar, right near Kaggis Bakery. If you know the area, you know Shanidevaragudi Bheedhi is usually quite a busy street with people coming and going. We have been working out of this space for a long time now. Catering is mostly about timing and making sure the food is ready when the vans need to load up. Most of our mornings start well before the sun is up. We have large pots and heavy stoves that take up most of the room in the back. It is not a glamorous job, especially when it is hot and we are prepping for a large group. We deal with lots of vegetable and grain deliveries every single day. Usually, the air smells like spices and fried tempering. Our staff has been with us for years and we all just know what needs to be done without talking too much. We focus on the local tastes that people in this part of Bangalore expect. Sometimes things get messy when we have three different events on the same day, but we manage to get the boxes packed. Being near the 9th Main keeps us connected to the neighborhood. We don't do much advertising; people just know us because we have been on this street for so long. It is just a regular catering setup where we try to do right by the orders we get.
