Brinda

If you head over to Frazer Town and look around M M Road, you’ll find us. We are on the first floor of number 166, which is pretty close to where Mosque Road starts. It’s a lively neighborhood, especially in the evenings when the food stalls get going. Brinda has been here for a while. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up the stairs, but it’s easy to find. The windows look out over the street so we can see all the movement below. We do hair and beauty stuff for the local ladies. It’s a small space but we make it work. Usually, there’s a bit of chatter going on while we work on someone’s hair or do a facial. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It’s just us working and trying to keep everything running smooth. Some days are very busy with people getting ready for weddings or functions at the mosque, and other days are a bit slower. We keep our supplies organized and the chairs clean. The curtains are usually drawn a bit to keep the sun out during the hot afternoons. People around Cox Town and Frazer Town know the building well. We’ve become a regular stop for many families in the area. It’s just a simple, honest business on a busy street corner in Bangalore. We don't overcomplicate things. We just come in, do the work, and chat with our neighbors.
