We have been here at No. 24/11 Fortune Properties for quite a while now. If you know where the Vishal Mega Mart is in Roopena Agrahara, we are right near there. Most days it is very noisy with all the traffic from Bommanahalli coming through right outside our door. We mostly just spend our time moving pieces of wood around and trying to get things to fit together properly. Sometimes the sawdust gets everywhere even if we sweep the floor twice a day. It is just how it is when you work with furniture every day. We do not have a big fancy team or anything like that. It is just a few of us here. One guy handles the cushions and another takes care of the finishing. We get a lot of people walking in after they finish their shopping at the mart. They usually just want to sit on a sofa for a bit because their feet are tired. That is fine by us. We also do a lot of heavy lifting when the trucks come in. It is a bit of a tight squeeze getting things into the storage area because the door is a bit narrow. The landlord says he might fix it but we have been hearing that for years. Anyway, we just keep ourselves busy. There is always a table to sand or a chair that needs a leg fixed. It isn't a glamorous job but it keeps the lights on and we like being in this part of town.
