Bluemoon Family Beauty Parlour

We have been running Bluemoon Family Beauty Parlour at number 60 on Kamraj Road for quite a while now. It is a busy spot in Shivajinagar, and we see all kinds of people coming in after they finish their shopping over at Commercial Street. Being near West Side means there is always a crowd outside, so it stays pretty noisy in the shop. We do not have a fancy setup, just some basic chairs and mirrors that have seen better days. It is a family place, so we get kids and adults too. Sometimes the plumbing in the back gurgles a bit when we are washing hair, but we just get on with it. The ceiling fans rattle when they are on high, which is most of the time in this Bangalore heat. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that. Most people just walk in and wait their turn on the wooden benches we have along the wall. I spend a lot of time sweeping the floor because hair gets everywhere fast. The staff has been with us for years and we all know the regulars by name. It is not the kind of place where you get fancy drinks, but we have a water cooler in the corner. We use simple products that work well enough. It is just a straightforward neighborhood shop where we try to keep things moving and make sure everyone looks okay when they leave.
