A1 Karnataka Salon

A1 Karnataka Salon is located over on AV Road in the Kalasipalyam part of Bangalore. We are pretty close to the Bangalore hardware shop, so that is a good landmark if you are trying to find us in all the traffic. This area is always moving and there is a lot of dust and noise from the main road, but our shop is a place where you can just sit down for a bit. It is a basic setup with the usual tools and a few chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We do not have air conditioning or fancy lights, just the regular fans spinning on the ceiling to keep the air moving. Most of the people who come in are workers from the nearby markets or folks just passing through Kalasipalyam. We handle haircuts and shaves without making a big deal out of it. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is finishing their shifts, so the floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, but we sweep it up when we can. The mirrors are a bit spotted and the walls could probably use some new paint, but it does the job for a local salon. We have stayed here because the location is handy for people who do not want to go far. It is just an honest, small shop for the working man who needs to look decent.
