We've been at Basavanagudi 133 for quite a while now. It’s just a small spot where people come to get their hair cut or maybe a quick facial after work. Most of the people who walk through our door live right around the corner, and we like it that way. It gets busy on weekends, especially Saturday mornings, so the chairs are usually full. We don’t have fancy coffee or anything like that, just a bench to sit on while you wait your turn. The mirrors have a few scratches and the floor always has a bit of hair on it despite how much we sweep. It’s a simple setup. We do what we can to make sure folks leave looking a bit tidier than when they walked in. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but nobody seems to mind much. We talk about the weather or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It isn't a high-end place with glass walls or uniforms. Just some scissors, combs, and local talk. We try to keep things moving so people aren't waiting too long. If you're looking for a place that feels like home and doesn't charge a fortune, that's basically us. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here, and now they bring their own kids. It’s nice seeing familiar faces every day. We just open the shutters, turn on the lights, and wait for the first person to show up.
