Bluebells Play School

Bluebells Play School is situated right inside the Air Force Station area. Because of our specific location, almost all of our little students come from the families who are living on the base. It is a very secure and quiet environment, which is actually quite nice for running a play school. We have a few rooms that we’ve filled up with toys, colorful rubber mats, and those small plastic chairs for the kids to sit on. It is a place for toddlers and young children to get used to being away from their parents for a few hours in the morning. We spend a lot of our time doing things like finger painting, singing nursery rhymes, and playing outside when the weather is not too hot. The playground has some small slides and swings that are just the right size for the little ones. It is not a very big operation, just a few of us looking after the children while their mothers and fathers are busy with their official duties. The walls are mostly covered in stickers and the messy drawings that the children make during the day. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic with everyone crying or laughing at the same time, but that is just how it goes when you work with three-year-olds. We do not have a lot of fancy high-tech equipment, just the basic stuff to keep them busy. Since we are on the station, everyone knows each other.
