You can find us in Sanjay Nagar on Canara Bank Road, right in the 6th Block at 33/3. It is a nice enough area, though the road gets very busy during banking hours. Our shop is a single room mostly filled with those large woven sacks. We have a small counter near the front that’s made of dark wood and has a few scratches on it from years of use. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it does the job of keeping the air moving. We don't have any flashy posters or sales talk. Usually, we just sit on the bags and wait for the next person to come in. The light comes in from the front door mostly, as there aren't many windows. We keep a ledger to write everything down, and we use an old calculator with big buttons. Bhuvaneshwari Rice Traders is just a quiet business where we do things the old way. Sometimes the delivery guys bring news from other parts of the city, which is how we keep up with things. The walls are mostly bare except for a small clock that is five minutes fast. We don't see any reason to change how we do things. It works for us and it works for the people who come to 33/3. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood, sitting there on Canara Bank Road.
