Bhupinders Punjabi Restaurant

This restaurant is located at No.13/29 in the Kalasipalyam area of Bangalore. We are right in front of the vegetable market on 3rd Cross, so the street is always packed with trucks, carts, and people selling things loudly. It is one of the busiest parts of the whole city. Being a Punjabi restaurant in this neighborhood is a bit different, but we have been here for a while now in the Ksv Nilaya building. We serve things like chole kulche and parathas which you don't always find easily in this market area. The place is quite simple inside, with plain walls and sturdy furniture that can handle the heavy crowd we get every day. Because we are right by the market, our day starts very early when the vendors are setting up their stalls. It’s loud and dusty outside, but inside we just keep the stoves going and the tea brewing. The staff is used to the fast pace of Kalasipalyam and they don't waste much time. We don't have a big menu with hundreds of items; we just stick to the North Indian staples that we know how to make well. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when it gets busy, and the floor might get a little dirty from the boots of people coming in from the market, but we clean up when we can. It’s a practical spot for a heavy lunch if you find yourself near the market.
