Bhavani Moblies & Services

Being located right where Koramangala and Kanakapura Main Road meet in JP Nagar 1st Phase means there is never any silence. Bhavani Moblies & Services is a small shop, mostly taken up by a glass counter that is full of phone cases and charging cables. Behind that counter, we have a tiny workspace with a bright lamp and a magnifying glass. We spend a lot of time squinting at circuit boards or trying to peel off broken glass from phone screens without cutting our fingers. The floor is tiled but has some stains from coffee spills over the years. We have a bunch of stools for people to sit on while they wait, though most people just stand and look at their watches. It gets really hot in the afternoons because the sun beats down on the front of the shop. We keep a small plastic fan on the counter to stay cool. There are always boxes of batteries and old screens piled up in the corner near the sink. We don't really have a set routine, we just handle whoever walks in with a dead battery or a cracked display. Sometimes the shop is empty for an hour, and then suddenly five people arrive at once. We just do what we can with the tools we have and try to keep things organized enough to find the right screwdriver when we need it. It's a busy little corner for us.
