Bhattacharyya & Co is based at number 9 in the Peenya 2nd Stage industrial area. If you have ever been to Peenya, you know it is all about manufacturing and hard work. The air is often filled with the sound of machinery and the smell of grease or metal. Our building is a simple, functional structure that fits right in with the surrounding factories and workshops. We have been here for a long time, and the interior of our office shows it. The furniture is old and sturdy, and there are stacks of technical drawings and ledger books everywhere. We don't have air conditioning, so we rely on big ceiling fans to keep the air moving during the hot afternoons. Most of our days are spent coordinating with different suppliers or checking on production schedules. It is a gritty environment, and we often get our hands dirty if we have to go out into the work area. We are not interested in having a polished corporate image. We are here to do a specific job in an industrial zone where people value practical results over anything else. The traffic in Peenya can be terrible with all the trucks, so we usually get in early to avoid the worst of it. It is a demanding place to work, but there is a lot of satisfaction in seeing things get built and shipped out from our little corner of the 2nd stage.
