Bharath Stores

Bharath Stores is right on Highway 112, specifically at number 49 near Kempegowda Circle in Belu. Being on the highway means we see a lot of travelers passing through from different places. We also have our local regulars who come in for their daily needs every morning. It’s a small shop, but we pack it full of whatever people might want when they are on the road. We spend a lot of time stocking shelves and checking the inventory we have left. The sound of trucks driving by is something we hear all day and night. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping down the counters and the windows. We don't have any big mission statement or fancy goals. We just want to make sure we have bread, milk, and the basics when someone stops their car. We’ve got a little wooden bench outside where people can sit for a minute to rest. The circle can get quite busy during the holiday seasons. We work long hours, often staying open late for the long-distance truck drivers who need a break. It’s a tiring job sometimes, but we enjoy the short conversations we have with strangers. You hear a lot of interesting stories from people driving across the state. We don't do any big sales or promotions. People just know we are here if they need something. It’s a practical spot on the side of the road.
