We have been at No.1303 in the Gopalappa Building on B B Road for quite a long time now. People around Yelahanka know the spot pretty well. It’s a busy area and we keep ourselves very busy too. Most days start early here because contractors and local guys want to pick up their hardware before the sun gets too hot. We have piles of steel rods and all sorts of small hardware stuff tucked into the corners. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because of all the stock, but we know where everything is kept. If you need a specific bolt or some heavy-duty steel, we usually have it lying around somewhere in a box or a rack. The building itself is an old landmark. Walking through the door, you'll see dusty shelves and a few of us moving heavy things around. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or a big glass front. It’s just a workspace where we sell what people need for building things. We handle the heavy lifting and the counting of small pieces all day long. Traffic outside on B B Road can be a real mess, but customers still find their way to us. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. There is no big secret to how we run things. We just stay open, keep the inventory ready, and talk to whoever walks in. It gets noisy with the trucks going past, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We are just local people trying to provide the materials that the builders in this neighborhood need to finish their jobs.
