Bhagya Paying Guest

Bhagya Paying Guest is a place we run at 971 Gnanajyothi Nagar, right on Shirole Road. We are quite close to Bangalore University, so we get a lot of students looking for a place to stay while they finish their classes. It is essentially a large house that we have set up with several rooms for rent. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible for the residents. There are beds, a few cupboards, and common areas where everyone can get their chores done. I spend a lot of my time making sure the water is running and the lights are working as they should. It is a bit of a constant job keeping up with the maintenance of an older building, but we manage it. We provide basic meals for the people staying here, usually just simple home-cooked food like what we eat ourselves. It is not a hotel, so don't expect room service or anything like that. It is more of a shared living space where everyone has to be mindful of their neighbors. We have some rules about noise and visitors just to make sure everyone can get their sleep. Most of the folks here are quiet and just need a safe spot to keep their things and sleep at night. I am usually around the property if someone needs help with a leaky tap or wants to pay their monthly dues. It is a humble place, but it serves its purpose for the local community.
