We are located right in the middle of the New Cloth Market in Kumbarpet, at shop number 143. Even though the market is known for cloth, we handle the metal side of things here at Bhagwati Metal. It’s a very busy area, especially when the new stock arrives and the narrow lanes get packed with people and carts. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for everything we need to store and sell. You’ll usually find us here from early morning until the market starts to wind down in the evening. There’s always a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people just know where we are and what we have. It’s a practical business, mostly dealing with various metal items that people in the trade need. We talk to a lot of different customers throughout the day, some regular and some just passing through. The shop has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the market change over the years. We keep things simple and don’t bother with anything too technical or fancy. If you need something, you just come by and ask. It’s the kind of place where a handshake still means something. We just try to keep the stock organized and the customers satisfied without making a big fuss about it. It gets hot in the shop, but we keep the fan going and stay busy.
