We have been here at No.22/1 in Dasappa Garden for quite some time now. Being right near the 108B bus stop in R T Nagar means we see a lot of people coming and going every day. It is a busy little spot in the Hmt Lyt area. People around here know us as Best Of Bengal Restaurant R T Nagar. We just keep things moving, cooking what we know and making sure folks have a place to sit for a bit. It’s not fancy or anything like that. The kitchen gets hot, especially during the lunch rush when the street outside is full of traffic and noise. Sometimes the power flickers, or we run out of something, but that’s just how it goes running a place in Bangalore. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the bus stop stays the same. Most of the people who come in are regulars from around the 560032 area. We don't spend much time on decorations or trying to look modern. We just focus on the food and getting through the day. If you are walking past Dasappa Garden, you’ll probably see our sign. It is just a straightforward place where we do our work. There isn't much more to it than that, really. We are just here doing our thing on this corner, serving whoever stops by after getting off the bus.
