Best Of Bengal Frazer Town is located at Number 41 on Haines Road. We’re right opposite Santosh Hospital, which is a good way to find us if you’re not familiar with this part of Frazer Town. Being in Bangalore, there are a lot of different food places, but we stick to what we know best, which is Bengal-style cooking. The shop isn’t very big, but we try to keep it clean and welcoming in a simple way. The kitchen is where most of the action happens. You can usually smell the spices all the way out on the sidewalk. It gets pretty crowded around dinner time because Haines Road is a busy thoroughfare. We have a small staff of people who just show up and do their jobs every day. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate stuff. We just want to make sure the food tastes right and that we don't run out of ingredients halfway through the shift. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for people to park, but they still find their way in. We’ve been here in Frazer Town for a while and have become part of the local scenery. It’s a lot of hard work, especially with the cleaning and the prep, but we enjoy seeing regular faces come through the door. We’re just a local spot trying to do things the traditional way.
