Best Mummy Cake&Sweets

We've been here at 11th Cross in Maruthi Nagar for a while now. It's a busy spot in Madiwala. Most mornings start pretty early with the ovens getting warmed up and the smell of sugar filling the small space we have here. There is always flour on someone's shirt or some icing on the counter that needs wiping. People come in from the street looking for something sweet for their kids or a cake for a birthday party they almost forgot about. We just keep busy making the stuff. The shop isn't fancy. There are some racks and the display cases that we spend half the day cleaning because of fingerprints. It gets hot in the back when the baking is really going, but that's just how it is. We know the neighbors pretty well since they pass by every day on their way to work. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but inside it’s just the sound of the mixers. We don't have a big team, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to explain it to a disappointed customer, which is never fun. It’s just a regular life here, dealing with eggs and butter and sugar until it’s time to close up and go home. We like being in this part of town even if the parking is a nightmare.
