About Benson Town Paying Guest – Tourism in Bengaluru
Running Benson Town Paying Guest over on Nda Road has its good days and its bad days. Benson Town is generally a bit quieter than the rest of the city, which is why people like staying here. The house at number 25 is an older building, so there is always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap in the bathroom or a door that won't shut right. I spend most of my mornings checking on the kitchen. We provide meals for the guys staying here, and making sure the grocery shopping is done on time is a big task. I usually walk down the street to get the vegetables myself because I like to see what is fresh at the stalls. The rooms are shared, and sometimes the roommates do not get along, so I have to step in and settle their small arguments about the light or the fan. It is a bit like being a parent to twenty grown men sometimes. The road outside can get a bit dark at night, but it is safe enough. I keep a register by the door to see who is coming and going. We do not have a big staff, just me and a lady who comes to sweep the floors and wash the dishes. It is a simple setup for people who work nearby or are just looking for a cheap place to sleep. Most of the tenants are decent guys.
