If you are looking for us, we are right behind Uma Theatre in Chamarajpet. It’s a busy area and the noise from the street usually drifts inside our door at No.59. We’ve been on 6th Main for a long time. The building is simple and doesn't stand out much from the others on the row. Inside, it’s mostly just us working away. We have benches set up and there are always wires or small parts scattered around. It’s not very tidy, but we know where everything is. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to fix or look at. People in the neighborhood know us by name. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy, just the name Beltronics on the door. The morning starts with opening the shutters and sweeping the front step. Then we get the coffee going. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running full blast. We mostly deal with whoever walks in or calls the landline. It’s a quiet life in a loud part of town. Sometimes we stand outside for a bit just to watch the people going to the movies next door. It’s a decent place to spend the day and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Chamarajpet over the years.
