Beijing Bites

You can find us over at Number 3 in Balaji Layout, right in the busy part of Marathahalli. It is a small place and mostly we focus on getting the food ready for delivery. The kitchen is always humming with the sound of the exhaust fans and the clicking of the stoves. There is a constant smell of soy sauce and ginger in the air, which we don't even notice anymore. We have a few guys who handle the cooking and a couple of us who pack everything into boxes. It gets really hectic in the evenings when the orders start piling up on the screen. The delivery riders are always standing by the door, checking their watches and waiting for the bags. We try our best to keep things moving fast so the food stays hot. Marathahalli is a loud area with constant traffic, but inside our little layout, we just focus on the orders. We use a lot of fresh vegetables that come in every morning from the local market. The staff has been the same for a long time, so we know how to work together without saying much. We don't have a big fancy dining area for customers to sit in. It’s a practical setup meant for cooking and packing. Sometimes when it rains, the whole street gets messy, but we stay open anyway. It’s just how we run things here every day.
