Bed & Break Fast

We run this small place over on Brigade Road in Memnagar. It’s located at number 15, and it’s basically just a few rooms we look after. We live nearby, so we’re usually around if someone needs a hand with their bags or a spare key. The neighborhood is quiet enough, though you get some noise from the main road every now and then. We spend a lot of time washing linens and making sure the breakfast table is set up before the sun comes up. It’s not like staying in a big hotel where nobody knows your name. We usually end up chatting with folks over coffee in the morning. Some people stay for a night, others stay for a week while they’re in town for work. We’ve fixed up the rooms over the years, painting the walls when they get scuffed and replacing the light bulbs. The plumbing is a bit old, so the hot water takes a minute to reach the taps, but it gets there eventually. We keep a few books in the common area for people to read. It's just a regular house that we've turned into a place for travelers to stay. There isn't much more to it. We try to keep things tidy and make sure the tea is hot. Memnagar is a decent part of the city to be in, and we’re glad to be here.
