Battery World

Battery World sits right in the middle of Jayanagar 7th Block, specifically at Crawford Market, number 816. It’s a pretty busy area with a lot of shops squeezed together. We’ve been here for a long time, surrounded by the usual market noise and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our shop is filled with batteries of all shapes and sizes stacked up on the shelves. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we generally know where everything is. People come in when their cars won't start or their home power backup fails. We spend a lot of time lugging heavy boxes around, which keeps us busy. The front counter is a bit worn out from years of use. We don’t have any marketing people or a big corporate team. It’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we make do with the space we have. Jayanagar is a nice place to work, even with the parking troubles around the market. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s a simple business, really. We just make sure the batteries are charged and ready for whoever needs them. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It keeps the atmosphere a bit more lively throughout the long afternoons. It's just a regular shop for regular people.
