Basera Punjabi Paying Guest

Running a paying guest house like Basera Punjabi keeps us on our toes. We are located at number 9 on Wind Tunnel Road in Murugeshpalya, which is a good spot for people working near Airport Road. We have several rooms here, and they stay pretty full with guys coming from all over. It’s not a hotel, just a simple place for people to live while they work. We try to keep the food decent because everyone misses home cooking. The kitchen is always busy in the mornings and evenings when everyone is getting ready or coming back from their shifts. It gets a bit loud in the common areas, especially when the cricket is on the TV. We have to keep an eye on the water tanks and the cleaning schedule to make sure everything is okay. It’s a bit of an old building, so something always needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky tap or a light bulb. We live on-site, so we’re usually around if someone locks themselves out or has a problem with their room. It feels a bit like a big, messy family sometimes. We don't have any fancy rules, just that everyone should respect the space and get along. It’s a practical place for someone who needs a roof over their head and a hot meal. We've been running this place for a while and have seen many faces come and go over the years.
