Roshan Steel Industries

You can find Roshan Steel Industries at 240, 17th Main Road in Laggere, right inside the Freedom Fighters Colony. We have been working with steel here for quite a while now. The shop is always loud with the sound of grinding and cutting metal, so it is hard to have a quiet conversation sometimes. It is a basic setup with raw steel pipes and sheets leaning against the walls. We do a lot of fabrication work, mostly making gates, window grills, and frames for the houses being built nearby. We start our day early before the sun gets too high because the heat from the metal and the welding can be a lot to handle by noon. We are a small crew and we have all been working together for years. Sometimes the power goes out in the colony and we just have to take a break and wait it out. We don't have any fancy office or a polished way of talking to people. Most of our customers just come in with a rough idea or a sketch on a scrap of paper, and we sit down and figure out how to build it. By the time evening comes, we are usually covered in black dust and soot from the machines. It is tough work, but there is something good about seeing a solid piece of steel work finished and ready to go out. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
