Bangalore Placements has been operating out of Shivaji Nagar for quite some time now, specifically at number 165. It’s a bit of a hectic area, but that’s just how things are around here. We spend most of our time looking at resumes and talking to people who are trying to find a new job. It’s not always a smooth process because the job market changes so much. Some days the phone won’t stop ringing, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually get some filing done. We aren’t a big corporate agency with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team trying to match folks with openings that actually exist. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors, all with different backgrounds and stories. Sometimes we can help, and sometimes it takes a lot longer than anyone wants. We don’t use any special software to pick names; we just read through the papers and see who might fit. The office is simple, nothing fancy to look at, but it serves its purpose. We know the Shivaji Nagar streets well, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. We just keep doing what we’re doing, one candidate at a time. It’s practical work.
