Bangalore Habba Office

The Bangalore Habba Office is situated in Sadashivanagar at No. 517, Rajmahal Vilas. We are right opposite Sankey Lake, which is a nice view to have while we’re working. Our office is where all the planning for the festival and other cultural activities happens. It’s often a bit chaotic in here, with papers everywhere and people coming in and out to talk about schedules and performers. We’ve been at this for a long time, trying to keep the local culture alive through the various events we help put together. Sadashivanagar is a quiet neighborhood, but our office can get pretty loud when we’re in the middle of a big project. We don’t have a polished corporate environment; it’s more like a community space where things actually get done. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or in meetings, trying to coordinate all the moving parts of the Habba. It’s not always easy, and there are plenty of long days where we just want to go home, but we stay because the work matters to the city. We aren't here to be flashy or impress anyone with big titles. We just sit in our office across from the lake and try to make sure the events happen without any major disasters. It’s a lot of coordination and local grit that keeps the office running day after day.
