Bangalore Events

Devis Road is a nice part of Bangalore, and we are right at number 60. It’s an old house that we converted into an office. You can still see where the kitchen used to be. There’s a big tree in the front that drops leaves everywhere, so we’re always sweeping the porch. Bangalore Events is exactly what it sounds like. We help people put together local gatherings. It could be a small party or a bigger neighborhood thing. We have a lot of folders filled with contacts for local cooks and tent guys. The office usually smells like old paper and the jasmine from next door. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a social media person. Most of our work comes from people walking in or calling us because they saw our sign on Devis Road. We sit around a big table to discuss what needs to be done. Sometimes we disagree on how many chairs are needed, but we figure it out. It’s a slow-paced way of working, but it suits us. The traffic on the road can be loud, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the ceiling fan and someone typing on a laptop. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the shopkeepers around. It’s a good community to be part of while we work. Most days are pretty good, even when the rain starts pouring down.
