We are located in the Binayaka Building over in Banashankari 2nd Stage. Musa Steel actually takes up several units there, from number 34 all the way through to 38. It’s a fair amount of space, but when you are dealing with steel, you need every inch of it. The building is a familiar landmark for people around here. Handling steel is heavy work, so there’s always a bit of noise from moving beams or pipes around. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from the heavy loads. We aren't a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. Our setup is more about utility and being able to move materials in and out easily. Banashankari is a busy residential and commercial mix, so we see a lot of different people coming by. Some are building houses, others are contractors. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking stock levels in the back units. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the different sections we have in the building. The air smells a bit like metal, which is something you just get used to after a week. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big slogans. We just focus on keeping the stock ready for whoever walks in. It’s a plain, hardworking environment where the main goal is just to handle the steel orders correctly and keep things moving along.
