Banashankari Store

We are located at 4/54 on Ramanthapur Road. It’s a busy street in Ganesh Nagar. The store has been here for a while now. We sell basic things like soap, flour, and oil. It’s a small space, so we use every inch of the walls for storage. You can find us easily because of the blue door. Mostly it’s just me and my son working here. We see the same neighbors every single day. Some people just come in for a chat and buy one or two things. We don't have any fancy marketing or big posters. Just a simple shop for the people living nearby. The traffic on Ramanthapur Road can get pretty loud, but inside it’s just the usual hum of the fridge. We keep the pulses in big jars on the counter. It’s easier that way. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the next truck, but people understand. It’s a local place. We don't pretend to be anything else. We open up around seven in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. The floor is a bit uneven, and the shelves are old wood, but they hold everything up just fine. Ganesh Nagar is a good community to be in. We just keep doing what we do, day after day, keeping the shelves stocked with whatever is in demand at the moment. It’s a humble way to earn a living.
