Being near JC Road means there is never a quiet moment. Our place is on Bamboo Bazar Road, specifically at No. 1 on the 2nd Cross. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with trucks and people moving materials around. We deal with steel, so things can get a bit loud and dusty during the day. It is not the kind of place where you wear a white shirt and expect it to stay clean. We have been at this location for quite some time now. The building is older, but it serves the purpose for what we do. We spend most of our time coordinating loads and talking to people who need supplies for their projects. There is a small tea shop just around the corner where we usually take our breaks. It’s a rough and tumble kind of business, but we like the pace of it. Being close to the main road helps with getting things moved, even if the traffic is a nightmare most afternoons. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. We are just local people trying to make a living in the iron and steel trade. It is a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but that is what goes into running a place like Azad Ispat. We just keep our heads down and do the work required.
