Shivaji Nagar area, Manimazra. We've been here at 39/7 for a while now. Dealing with wood is just what we do every day. It gets dusty in the shop, but that’s part of the job. People come in looking for different types of lumber or maybe some custom cuts for a project they're starting at home. We have a few guys here who know how to handle the saws and the sanding machines. Sometimes the wood isn't perfect, but we try to find the right piece for whatever someone needs. It’s a busy spot, especially when the trucks arrive with new stock. We spend a lot of time organizing the stacks so things don't get too messy. The neighborhood knows us as the place to go when you need something solid. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the workshop and the yard. If you walk past the Manimazra area, you can usually hear the machines running. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the wood business over the years, with prices going up and down, but we just keep at it. Most of our days are spent measuring twice and cutting once, or at least trying to. It’s hard work, but there’s something nice about the smell of fresh sawdust in the morning. We just focus on getting the orders out to the people who need them without making a big fuss about it.
