Ballava Tent House

Ballava Tent House is based out of the Basaveshwara Nagar Main Market area, specifically over at Hallo Majra. Our daily life involves a lot of heavy lifting and moving large bundles of cloth and metal. We have stacks of folded tents, rows of plastic chairs, and big rolls of carpets piled up in our storage space. It’s a very physical job, especially when we have to load everything onto the trucks early in the morning. The Main Market is a loud place, and we are right in the thick of it. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to make sure all the fabric stays dry. We don't have a big office or anything like that. It’s mostly just a warehouse feel where we check the inventory and fix any tears in the curtains. People from around Hallo Majra come by when they are planning something and need some extra seating or cover. We spend a lot of time untangling ropes and making sure the poles are sturdy enough. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. There isn't much time for anything other than getting the gear ready for the next setup. We just keep the equipment in good shape and make sure we have enough hands to move it all when needed.
