Balaji Punching

Our place, Balaji Punching, is located at S. No. 25/2 in Naganathpura. We are right on the Doddanagamangala Road, which is directly opposite the big Bosch Software facility on Hosur Road. It’s a very industrial area, so there’s always a lot of heavy traffic and trucks moving around. The air is often a bit dusty because of all the construction and the factories nearby. Our workspace is more of a workshop than a traditional office. We have the machines for punching and all the tools laid out on the floor. It can get quite loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other. It’s hard work and it gets hot in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The Bosch building across the road is like a landmark for us. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or air conditioning. It’s just a practical space where we get the job done. Most of the people we work with are from the nearby industrial estates. We keep our own hours and usually stay until the day's work is finished. It’s a grit-and-grind type of place. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture because it would just get dirty anyway. We focus on the machines and making sure everything is punched correctly. It’s simple, honest work.
